Window attachments are a cost-effective means of reducing energy use in both the residential and commercial buildings and have the potential to save significant energy in residential and commercial buildings through the rapid turnover of the installed base and their relatively low cost. At present there is no accurate method to assess the performance of individual products or for consumers to distinguish among the relative energy saving performance of window attachment products.
