- Dues are based upon a calendar year from January-December and billed annually prior to the start of the year.
- Each member organization receives (1) vote.
- Subsidiaries of Manufacturer or Retailer companies may participate under parent organization membership without voting rights.
Certification Discounts
- Only manufacturer/Fabricator/Retailer/Distributor members qualify for discounted member-rate certification fees.
Manufacturer/ Fabricator Membership
Applicable to manufacturers of window attachments products and/or components.
Window Attachments – Ready to install finished goods.
- Interior: blinds, cellular shades, pleated shades, roller shades, interior shutters, storm windows, secondary glazing systems
- Exterior: solar screens, exterior shutters, rolling shutters, zip screens, awnings, and storm windows
Components: fabrics, materials, slats, clutches, rollers, motors, head rails, side rails, etc. and other component parts of finished window attachments
Annual Dues: For manufacturers & fabricators dues apply to revenue from window attachments and component products (combined wholesale and/or retail) sold in the U.S. for the prior year.
Category 1 (< $2 Million Sales) $1,000.
Category 2 ($2 to $6 Million Sales) $3,000.
Category 3 ($6 to $25 Million Sales) $7,000.
Category 4 ($25 to $75 Million Sales) $10,000.
Category 5 (> than $75 Million Sales) $15,000.
Retailer/Distributor Membership
Applicable to companies selling window attachments products/components to residential and/or commercial markets.
- Retailers/Dealers with stores, showrooms, e-commerce, or in home-sales.
- Distributors with wholesale and/or trade accounts sales.
Annual Dues: For retailers, & distributors, dues apply to revenue from window attachments and component products (combined wholesale and/or retail) sold in the U.S. for the prior year.
Category 1 (< $2 Million Sales) $1,000.
Category 2 ($2 to $6 Million Sales) $3,000.
Category 3 ($6 to $25 Million Sales) $7,000.
Category 4 ($25 to $75 Million Sales) $10,000.
Category 5 (> than $75 Million Sales) $15,000.
Associate Membership
Applicable to organizations that are collaborative partners of AERC.
Trade Associations, Test Lab, Simulators, or Calculation Entities.
Annual Dues: $2,000. per year
Public Interest Membership
Organizations in the window attachments industry, building energy efficiency, and/or energy ratings whose purpose is to serve and improve the public welfare (includes Government and Non-profits).
Annual Dues: $500. per year
Utility Membership
Investor owned, public, or electric cooperative utilities serving residential, commercial or industrial customers in the U.S.
Annual Dues: $5,000. per year
Individual Membership
Individual membership is available to designers, architects, or individuals.
Annual Dues: $500. per year
