AERC Gears up for Semi- Annual Fall Meeting

To host sessions on automation, certification, marketing efforts, and more

NEW YORK (November 16, 2020) – The Attachments Energy Rating Council (AERC) is hosting its semi-annual members meeting in a virtual format from November 18-19. This meeting will gather important leaders in the window attachment space, from leading manufacturers, to government organizations, to utility companies. This 2-day virtual event will play host to engaging discussions around a next generation certification label, upcoming tax incentive opportunities, and early conversations about the launch of ratings and certification for automated window attachment products. Additionally, the AERC Fall Meeting will host members of the Consortium for Energy Efficiency who will present an award ceremony to announce the finalists and winners of the Lighting and Home for Tomorrow Competition, a nearly yearlong competition highlighting the best in lighting and window attachment products that connect to smart home systems.

“AERC is at a tipping point where many of its programs are coming into the market place,” said Ralph Vasami, Executive Director of AERC. “The Fall Meeting will serve as a great opportunity for key leaders in the industry and within the organization to gather and work to advance many elements for the next phases of developing the programs, the organization, and creating value for the industry over the next four years.”
